DSI Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries have always been with education sector with regard to sponsorships.

DSI Super Sport "Danumai Wasanaawai" is a well known quiz contest for school children. All the schools in the country participate for this program which runs for a year. The standard of this quiz contest is been monitored by the Ministry of Education in Sri Lanka. Other than the participant the other students of respective schools takes a special interest to participate for this program. The full program is been telecast through a TV channel.

Mathematical Olympiad is the new quiz program sponsored by DSI with the assistance of Department of Mathematics, University of Colombo and is held once a year. The purpose of this quiz contest is to up lift the standards of the mathematical knowledge of the students in Sri Lanka. The final winners of this contest get an opportunity to participate for International Mathematical Olympiad which is held annually.
