Hydro Power

The DSI Holdings ventured into the area of power generation when the Sri Lankan government invited private sector to invest in mini hydro projects to meet the rising energy demands of the country.
It was a strategic investment for the group to balance its diversification portfolio.

Hydro Trust Lanka (Pvt) Ltd set up its mini hydro plant in Kuda Oya in Aranayake off Mawanella and generates 2 Mega Watts to the national grid.
