The footwear sector plays a major role in the Group with a portfolio of leading brands.

D. Samson Industries Ltd. the founder company of the Group manufactures footwear for the whole family with products ranging from rubber slippers to ladies, gents and children’s footwear.

Samson Manufacturers Ltd. specialises in ladies and gents slippers and sandals. The company also manufactures children’s footwear for both kids and teenagers.

Samson Sportswear (Pvt) Ltd is a company that specialises in School and Sports shoes using hi tech injection moulding machines. The EVA injection plant is the most recent investment of the company, the only plantof its kind in Sri Lanka.

Samson Compounds (Pvt) Ltd was formed purely to manufacture and supply the rubber compounds & sheets that required for footwear and rubber product sectors. Today we mix compounds for the group companies and also to major companies outside the group. The company has two mixing plants for natural rubber sheets and EVA synthetic sheets and is one the well maintained plants in Sri Lanka.

The research and development department of the company continuously develop new compounds and formulas to meet the international competition. Samson compounds (Pvt) Ltd is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company and uses a fully integrated ERP system to monitor the production process.
